Is it OK to Adopt Kids?

ANSWER: YES

3 Easy Examples in the Bible

1. Moses was Adopted- Pharaoh says kill all the baby boys. Moses’ mom Jochebed put in him a basket and sent him down the river. Pharaoh’s daughter sees him and adopts him. (Exodus 1, 2, & 6)

2. Esther was adopted by Mordecai upon the death of her parents (Esther 2:7)

3. Jesus was adopted by Joseph (Matthew & Luke)


As a Christian, God says we become part of His family… we are adopted.

Romans 8:15 (King James Version)
15For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but you have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

5he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—

Adoption is a wonderful thing. There are so many children out there that need and deserve the love, protection, and security that they can only receive from having a "Forever Family". These children are all around the world, but yet you wouldn't believe how many children need our help here in the United States and you may be surprised learn there are many in our own back yards. These kids did not ask to be brought into this world, yet God created them, just as he created us...for a reason. Listen to what God tells you in this area. There may be a special little boy or girl that God has created just for you....to love and protect and to teach them about God's love...otherwise they may never know. As an adoptive parent I feel like I am the one that is so lucky and blessed...I got the long end of the stick!!!
